We use personal information to remember your preferences, save your cart, recommend products, understand how customers use the Services, and improve our website, products, and customer experience.

For marketing and advertising

We may use personal information to send promotional emails or text messages where permitted by law, and to show you advertisements on our Services or on third-party sites and platforms. This may include personalized or targeted advertising based on your interactions with our Services.

For legal and compliance purposes

We use personal information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, law enforcement requests, tax requirements, accounting obligations, and to enforce our terms, policies, and legal rights.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our partners may use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, analyze traffic and usage, measure advertising performance, and deliver or help deliver personalized advertising.

Some of these technologies may be considered “sharing,” “sale,” or use for “targeted advertising” under certain US state privacy laws, depending on how they are used.

You may be able to control certain cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through our cookie banner or privacy choices tools on the Services.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Shopify and other service providers that help us operate the Services, including providers of website hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, analytics, customer support, email delivery, shipping, and cloud storage.

  • Parties to a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our assets.
  • Other parties at your direction or with your consent.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, some data sharing with advertising and analytics partners may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for “targeted advertising” under certain state privacy laws.

6. Relationship with Shopify

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to sell products and operate the Services. As a result, personal information you provide when using the Services may be collected, processed, and stored by Shopify on our behalf and, in some cases, by Shopify for its own purposes as described in Shopify’s consumer privacy materials and privacy controls resources. Shopify also provides tools that can help merchants configure privacy notices, cookie banners, and data-sharing opt-out pages.

For more information about how Shopify processes personal information, please review Shopify’s applicable privacy materials and privacy controls.

7. Your US Privacy Rights

Depending on the state where you live and subject to certain exceptions and limitations, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Right to know/access: request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and request access to that information.
  • Right to delete: request deletion of personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to data portability: request a copy of certain personal information in a portable format.
  • Right to opt out: request to opt out of:
    • the sale of personal information,

  • Right to appeal: if we deny your privacy request, you may have the right to appeal our decision, depending on your state of residence.

California recognizes rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, and non-discrimination. Colorado and Virginia also provide rights to access, delete, correct, data portability, and opt out of targeted advertising and sale of personal data.

How to exercise your rights

You may submit a privacy request by:

  • emailing us at info@yarnhaul.com
  • using any Your Privacy Choices or similar link on our website, where available

8. Targeted Advertising and Privacy Choice Signals

Where required by applicable law, we will honor valid opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), for the browser or device from which the signal is sent. California recognizes GPC as an acceptable method for submitting requests to opt out of sale or sharing, and Colorado maintains a public list of recognized universal opt-out mechanisms.

If we can associate a browser or device-based opt-out signal with your account, we may also apply that request to your account, where required or appropriate.

9. Sensitive Personal Information

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

To the extent we collect any information that may be considered sensitive personal information under applicable law, we use it only for permitted business purposes, such as processing payments, providing requested services, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or as otherwise permitted by law.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to delete it.

We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

11. Data Retention
