You will receive your tracking code by email around 5–6 days after placing your order with Yarn Haul.

Please keep this email safe, as your tracking will automatically update once your yarn arrives in your country and is handed over to the local courier.

This usually means your order has been booked into the shipping system, but it may not yet have been scanned by the local courier. Your tracking will update once your parcel reaches the next stage. First your parcel needs to arrive into your country by container ship, clear customs and then it will be collected from our bonded warehouse by your courier. Its at this stage that your tracking link will update and start notifying you.

Yarn Haul orders are shipped internationally using LCL shipping, which means your parcel travels inside a shared container with other shipments.

Your parcel is already labelled for the courier in your country, but while it is travelling inside the container, it may not receive regular individual courier scans.

Once the container arrives in your country, it is unloaded, cleared through customs, and your parcel is handed over to the local courier. At this point, your tracking should begin to show clearer updates through the local delivery network.

This is normal for international shipments and does not mean your order has been lost.

Please check your estimated delivery window first on your order confirmation email or on our website. If your estimated delivery time has passed and your tracking has still not updated, please raise a support ticket with your order number so our team can look into it.

Once your order has been dispatched, we may not be able to change the delivery address. Please raise a support ticket as soon as possible and our team will advise what options are available.

Yarn Haul orders are shipped internationally and our estimated delivery times are quoted below.

USA: 25–28 days

Canada: 30-35 days

Europe: 35-40 days

UK: 35-40 days

This is an estimate, and delivery times can vary due to production preparation, sailing schedules, customs clearance, and local courier handover.

Yarn Haul orders are shipped direct from Factory and our partner Factories. Your yarn is prepared, packed, and shipped internationally before being handed over to your local courier for final delivery.

This allows us to offer factory-direct pricing on bulk yarn orders.

We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours. They will make their way to our forwarding partner who will schedule its departure on the ship to your country. From point of order to making it onboard is usually completed within 7 days.

Yes. Although most orders move through customs without issue, occasional customs checks or port delays can happen and are outside of our control.

If this happens, your delivery may take a little longer than expected. Your tracking should update once your parcel has cleared customs and been handed over to the courier.

From experience, customs delays in China or your local country, clear within 7 days, on exremely rare occasions, parcels may take up to 30 days to be released. We will keep you updated if this happens.

Yarn is packed into clear bags and loaded in a carton box. It is then safely compressed and sealed.

Depending on the quantity of yarns you have ordered, it may come strap banded with either steel or plastic bands to keep it in shape. When opening, please take care and wear safety glasses as the tension in these straps can be very high.

No, we do not charge extra for delivery. All Yarn Haul prices include free delivery, so the price you see already includes shipping to your door.

There are no separate delivery charges added at checkout.

No. There are no extra duties or taxes for you to pay.

Yarn Haul covers the required shipping, duties, and taxes before your order reaches you, so the price you see at checkout is the final price.

There is nothing else to pay when your order arrives.

Returns

We accept returns on unused yarn in its original condition, provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

Because Yarn Haul supplies factory-direct bulk yarn, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Returns are usually sent back to our factory in China, although regional return warehouses may be available for some locations. Canadian customers may be able to use our USA warehouse, and European customers may be able to use our UK warehouse.

Please contact us before sending anything back so we can confirm the correct return address for your location.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your refund.

We cannot accept returns for yarn that has been used, cut, or altered. Minor changes in texture, compression, or shape caused by international shipping are not classed as faults, as the yarn may arrive slightly flattened and will usually re-fluff after handling.

Returns are usually sent back to our factory in China, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. However, we also have regional return warehouses available in the USA and the UK.

For Canadian orders, returns may be sent to our USA warehouse. For European orders, returns may be sent to our UK warehouse.

To be eligible for a return, your yarn must be unused, in its original condition, and you must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for returns that are lost in transit.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your refund.

If your order arrives damaged or there is a quality issue, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos or videos showing the problem. We will review the issue and offer a fair solution, which may include a refund, replacement yarn with your next order, store credit, or a discount.

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched, as they are shipped in shared containers and cannot be retrieved once in transit.

Pricing

Yes. Yarn Haul offers bulk discounts, and these are automatically applied in your cart and at checkout.

You do not need to enter a discount code. The correct discount will be applied based on the quantity of that product in your cart.

You can find the discount table for each product directly on the product page, underneath the Add to Cart button. Discounts are usually based on quantity tiers, such as 70+, 100+, 150+ and more.

The more you buy from Yarn Haul, the cheaper each item becomes.

Yes, we occasionally offer one-time discounts for new customers.

We also work with partners in our delivery countries who may have exclusive discount codes available to share. You can usually find these codes through their social media pages or on our own Yarn Haul social media profiles.

If you cannot find an active discount code, please feel free to reach out to us and we will let you know if any current offers are available.

Prices are localised based on your country, so you will usually pay in your local currency.

Our prices are based on USD exchange rates, which means prices in other currencies may fluctuate slightly over time as exchange rates change.

The currency shown at checkout will be the currency you pay in.

Our minimum order varies by country and is based on a minimum spend, rather than a minimum number of skeins or yarns.

The minimum spend for your location will be shown in your cart before checkout.

You can mix and match products to reach the minimum order amount, and once your cart meets the required spend for your country, you will be able to complete your order.

Yes, we can offer yarn wound into ball shape with a label.

This service carries an additional cost, as the yarn needs to be wound, labelled, and packed differently from our standard bulk yarn.

For ball-shaped yarn, we recommend not compressing the yarn during shipping, as compression can affect the shape, appearance, and label presentation.
